It is with the greatest possible sadness that I report the passing of a hero of mine from the movies, Burt Reynolds. He was 82.

From movies such as the Cannonball run and Deliverance to Hooper and Boogie nights, his talent and humour were unmistakable.

For me personally though his best movie and the reason I have had the same nick in samp from day one is Smokey and the Bandit.

In tribute I offer the trailer from that movie.
