Many threads are going off-topic. And becoming a discussing thread instead. So it would be much better if you add forum rules.

Generally speaking we like to have a lax stance to moderation here on the forum, unless a user is quite clearly trolling, spamming, being offensive, etc.

In the example of the thread you linked to, I see some light banter which is borderline off-topic, but nothing of any real concern. If the creator of the thread, @XT_Amina, was finding the posts to be frustrating or unwanted, we'd certainly have no problem removing them.

Our forum software also has a handy feature which allows us to issue a "reply ban", which essentially allows us to ban a specific user from replying to a specific thread, and so anyone who is a repeat offender can be replied banned, or warned / suspended if needed.

I have no objection to us implementing some basic forum rules, though, for example some of the rules you mentioned are a good starting point.

We do also welcome any members of the community to Report posts that they believe should not be public.
